An inlay is a restoration that fills the area where tooth structure has been removed during cavity treatment. Various materials are available, including metal, zirconia, and resin.
There are aesthetic materials that closely resemble natural teeth, which can be selected according to your preferences.

Threetypes of materials to choose from!

e.max: Created by melting ceramic blocks at high temperatures, then pressing the material into a mold. The blocks themselves have inherent translucency, producing a natural coloration similar to natural teeth.
Offers appropriate flexibility and resilience, making it resistant to fracture.
Zirconia: Created by milling teeth from zirconia blocks using 3D printing technology, then firing at high temperatures. Higher hardness makes them less prone to fracture than e.max, while still maintaining a translucent appearance that can achieve natural tooth coloration.
Highly durable and suitable for patients who grind or clench their teeth, heavy biters, and for back teeth.
Aesthetic Resin: Uses light-cured resin to treat small cavities without metal for a white restoration (completed in a single visit).
Compared to conventional materials, this material contains a higher percentage of ceramic fillers, and uses specific pastes for dentin and enamel layers, allowing it to blend seamlessly with your natural tooth.

Inlay Procedure Details

Procedure Time:: Approximately 20-30 minutes per tooth
*May require an additional 30 minutes per tooth if the cavity is deep and requires pulp extraction.
Swelling/Pain:: Rarely, some discomfort may occur at the anesthetic injection site, but this typically subsides within 2-3 days. Cold sensitivity may also occur due to the drilling stimulation, but normally settles within a week. Please contact us if pain persists beyond 3 weeks.

Anesthesia:: A slight pinch may be felt during anesthesia administration. Anesthetic effects typically wear off after 2-3 hours.

Bathing/Face Washing:: Possible from the same day of the procedure.
Intense Physical Sports/Massage:: Possible from the same day of the procedure.
Additional Notes:: Meals: Please avoid hard foods as much as possible.
